Jason Buie
De uit Vancouver afkomstige gitarist, zanger en songwriter Jason Buie treedt al sinds zijn 16e op. Sindsdien toonde hij zijn vaardigheden op podia in Canada, USA en Japan. Daarbij trad hij al op met de grote namen uit de blueswereld: Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Jeff Healey etc. Zijn nieuwe CD ‘Live at the Blue Gator’ is net uit.

Vancouver based Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Jason Buie has played all over the world…throughout Canada, USA, Japan and Europe. He has performed with such artists as Blues legend Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, Jeff Healey and many more. Jason’s Debut CD “Urban Blues” has received rave reviews around the world.His music has been featured on the hit Television series “Cold Squad” and is on regular rotation at The DMX Satellite network. Jason’s from the heart vocals and fiery guitar work has had critics and blues fans take notice all around the world. He plays with the fire of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the magic of Jimi Hendrix and is a consummate entertainer. Buddy Guy was quoted saying “This kid plays the guitar like he’s on fire”.

In January 2009 Jason released his 2nd CD “Live at The Blue Gator”. The Jason Buie Band plans to tour Europe in Fall 2009 with former Jeff Healey drummer “Al Webster” as well as “Wild T and The Spirit” bass player Guenther Kapelle!
